No.2: 'Cherry Tree Rag': As you know, our children play recorders every Wednesday morning with the Recorder Club from 8.15am!! Sometimes it's difficult to learn new recorder pieces and so we are now able to support our musicians with this rehearsal track to listen to at home. So let's get in front of our audio speakers at home and start practising this piece. ENJOY!!

As you may know, Peterbrook has been designated as a 'Gold Artsmark' school by Arts Council England for the quality and variety of the arts activities we provide our children both within the curriculum and beyond it. Today saw yet another set of happy memories being created as our Year 4 children performed on our front playground to their parents and the rest of the school, a fabulous programme of Samba drumming with Louise, their drum teacher. It was an extremely polished performance - well done children!!

Well done to our School Choir who went to the NIA for the 'Young Voices' Concert. They sang beautifully and had a wonderful time. Miss Pearce has recorded some of the best songs that were performed at the event. Here are the first two: 'Ain't no mountain', and 'I'll fly away'- sung with special guests 'All Angels'.
