Our BIG SING was an attempt to break the World Record for the biggest number of children singiong the same song at the same time!! Our song was 'You Gotta Be' and we sang it with superstar Des'ree on a 'live' feed from the O2 Arena in London. We will soon be told if we broke the World Record by the people at the Guinness Book of World Records. For more photos and video clips go to Breaking News on our website!!

Exactly one year ago today our Year 6 children were sitting their final SAT's test paper in the morning before jetting off to China on an 8 day performance tour to our partner school in Beijing - AnZhen No.1 Primary School!! Today only 5 of the 12 members of the cast of 'The Statue of the Ancient Hero' are still pupils at Peterbrook - they were in Year 5 then - Demia, Charlotte, Megan, Saffron and Tyler. Listen as we recall our magical moments from the visit - the experience changed them forever. Enjoy!!

RED NOSE DAY 2009 will be a 'Big'n'Baggy' Day at Peterbrook as we engage in singing, dancing and painting activities to raise money for a good cause. This podcast is a rehearsal track for our School Choir who are busily learning the fab RND 2009 official song. Our choir will sing the song to launch our 'Big'n'Baggy' Day on 13 March!! Well done to our School Choir who went to the NIA for the 'Young Voices' Concert. They sang beautifully and had a wonderful time. Peterbrook is a Gold Artsmark school, recognised by Arts Council England. Our School Choir Club meet weekly to rehearse for their next performance - the 'Young Voices' concert in the National Indoor Arena on 9th December!! We will join thousands of other singers for this massive fund-raising event. This podcast is important because it enables our pupils to have a Choir Club rehearsal whenever they want to - at home!!
